Once I receive your submission, I’ll send you a welcome email with a Calendly link. From there, you will choose a date and time for our Zoom discovery call. Then we can decide if we want to create magic together!

Our discovery call is a casual Zoom video chat designed to get to know each other and talk about your project. You don’t have to be on camera if that’s not your thing; comfy clothes and off-camera vibes are totally welcome.

During the call, we’ll discuss what you’re writing (whether it’s a novel or content for your blog or website), what kind of editing you’re looking for, and what your goals are. You can ask questions, share your concerns, and get a feel for how I work.

It’s a no-pressure way to see if we’re a good fit and if my editing services are the right match for your book or content. Think of it as a vibe check with a side of strategy.

At the moment, I take all major credits cards, ACH, or PayPal. You can pay all at once, or you can make a deposit. Deposits are 50% of the total price and are non-refundable.

That all depends on the length of your project and my availability. A blog post or website article can be done within a few days, but an entire novel will take much longer. Once I receive and go over your project, I will draw up a contract and let you know an estimated time of completion. If you have a deadline to meet, please let me know immediately (preferably in the initial contact form) and I can let you know up front if I can help you meet it.

Yes! Once you make my suggested changes, I will review and edit your work one more time free of charge. For additional revisions, my posted rates will apply again.

I am most familiar with MS Word, but I can also work from Adobe or Google Docs.

Well, that’s what I enjoy reading. It is also in your best interest to hire an editor who is immersed in your genre. This ensures that they know current trends and story structure. It’s a win/win for everyone involved!
